Mastering by Mail

Before you submit your material :

1)  First, make sure you are completely happy with the mix. 

2)  Ask your mix engineer to export all mixes at 24bits @44.1 Khz (minimum), in  WAV/AIFF format

3)  Do not limit or compress your mix unless its a production decision..  (keep the master buss empty). 

4)  Mail all mixes on a CD/DVD in ' DATA format '. Attach contact address, email, phone numbers, any other specific information regarding  post production , mastering , final formats, etc.,  in a  separate sheet of paper.

How much is it going to cost you?:

Indie productions (web release, compilations, underground releases, etc.) 

Complete album/compilations (8 songs or more) :

 Rs.1500 per song ($ 35 US)

EP or singles : 

Rs.2000 per song ($ 45 US)

Samples: 

As mastering is a creative process, every mastering engineers'  work is unique, hence I will first master a  few songs from your record  as samples. That way you get the feel of how things shape up .

Turn around time:

Usually about two to three weeks.

About the Engineer:

I am a professional audio engineer. I have been involved with audio from the past eleven years  and I currently work for clients all around the world . I work ITB on  most occasions with stereo sound (no surround).
